Wig/Accessories – I used the same wig and earrings that I used for Summoner Yuna. I style Yuna’s wig from FFX to match more of FFX-2. The twin blades were commissioned from Amethyst Angel.

Tail – I got some foam and cut like 5-6 inches in width, rolled it up and supported it to stay rolled up by using hair ties. I cut three long pieces of red material and braided it and hand sewed it around the foam, making sure I covered it all up. I bought some loose synthetic hair to match the wig, and machine sewed to a loose end of red material to make sure it stays. That part is covered with the white at the end of the tail, which was dyed a fuchsia color. A blue cord was used to tie at the white part.

Top – The top was build with a backless and strapless bra as the base that I covered with red stretchy material. Once I figured out the pattern for the top and how I was going to fold the fabric over, I cut and dyed the fabric the same as the other parts. Figuring out how to do the top was the hardest part of making this costume for me.

Arm-warmers – This was a first for me on making armwarmers that fit my whole arm. I used stretchy white material for this. A pain about the armwarmers was the little pieces that covered each arm that I had to individually dye. For my second version, I sewed the top of each arm warmer to the each strap on my shoulder

Gloves – These were found in a thrift store.

Skirt – The pattern for this wasn’t has hard to figure out than the top. Once the pieces were cut and seamed, they were dyed. I poked little holes in the fabric on the front two sides and strung a black cord through.

Socks/Ankles – I used the same stretchy red material for the top for the socks and fitted it to my legs with a sort of angle to the top. The fabric over the ankles seemed like it had a faint reddish pink tint in it. After figuring out the pattern, I used a little red dye on them.

Shoes – I went a pair of shoes for each version of this costume I did. Each was found at a thrift store. The shoes were altered to look like Yuna’s thief shoes. As much as I could get it too, that is.

Total money spent on costume: $176.34
