Costume finished (1st Version) Jan. 15, 2005 Top This was the same white top I used for my Tifa Lockhart costume from FF7. Jacket This was the hardest part of the costume. The material is pvc leather that I bought from www.syfabrics.com/. I used the vest from Tifa Lockharts Nibelheim outfit as a guide for this and added the sleeves. I bought the fur at hobby lobby. It was listed as long-haired faux fur on the package. Pants I luckily found these leather pants at a thrift store in great condition. Belts There were six of them and all were found at thrift store. I painted the three on the waist in a burnt umber color acrylic paint and added the wooden stubs after painting them in silver with fabric-tac. That seems to work not only on just fabric. The larger studs that go on the larger width belt were made using wooden studs and the design was painted using acrylics in a dark metallic gray and silver. The buckle is made from craft foam and painted silver. For the belts on the leg, I had to cut each in slightly different length to fit my right leg. The design at the end of the belt was painted in silver. It had a bit of a problem with getting these to stay on right. Gloves The leather gloves bought off of e-bay. Jewelry This includes the Sleeping Lionheart and ring. These were both bought off of e-bay. Boots I used the same boots for Yuna. I made the extra removable design on the boots using pvc leather, metal rings bought from a hardware store, and small jewels painted in silver. Total Amount Spent - $48.54 Progress photos
